SHAdow For A Day Program
What is the SHAdow for a Day Program?
Choosing your high school is a big decision and we created an opportunity for you to get a first-hand experience of a typical day at SHA through the SHAdow for a Day Program.
After learning a little bit about you, we personally match you with a current SHA student who shares many of your same interests. You will "shadow" your host as she attends classes throughout the day, mingle with other SHAdows and their hosts while you enjoy a complimentary lunch and tour the campus.
Who is eligible to participate in the SHAdow for a Day Program?
In the fall, 8th grade girls from both Catholic and public schools are invited to sign up.
In the spring, 7th grade girls from both Catholic and public schools are invited to sign up.
What time do you need to be dropped off and picked up on your SHAdow day?
7:45 a.m. is the time for parent drop-off
1:30 p.m. is the time for parent pick-up
What should you wear on your SHAdow day?
Please wear a dress or a skirt and blouse or your private school uniform. NO SNEAKERS please!
Do you need to bring lunch from home or purchase lunch?
Every SHAdow receives a voucher for a complimentary lunch in the school cafeteria. Of course you are welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer.
How will your SHAdow Day be confirmed?
Once you select the date you prefer from our online reservation calendar, we will send you a confirmation email to let you know that you are all set. Additionally, a few days before your visit you will receive an email reminding you of your appointment and any other information you may need.
How do you sign up for a SHAdow Day?
