Sacred Heart Academy - College Information Night

The Sacred Heart Academy mock trial team has recently made waves in the mock trial team world by securing a spot as one of the top 4 teams in Nassau County.

Ilenia Graffagnino, an 11th grade SHA student, placed #7 in all of New York State in Varsity Extemporaneous Speaking at the speech and debate statewide competition

On Sunday, morning May,19th SHA will be hosting our annual Out of the Darkness Walk on our own Four Sisters Field to celebrate Mental Health Month.  We walk the track to help spread awareness for suicide prevention, education and ending the stigma associated with mental health.  Donations support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Sacred Heart Academy has a vibrant and dynamic International Travel Program. As a school, we believe wholeheartedly in the concepts of lifelong learning and the global classroom.

Service trip to the Neumann Residence, one of Catholic Charities group homes for Adults with disabilities and hearing impairment

Mrs. Kathleen O'Neill and Mrs. Sara Stanjones of of SHA's guidance department, set up a field trip to Hofstra University's Science and Innovation Center and it's Nursing Program.

Competing against 24 sophomore teams, Dr. Feinman's Science ninth grade Research students soared in Northwell Health's signature public health competition.

Sacred Heart Academy senior Kate Laura has just learned that her senior thesis, "Educators' attitudes towards student part-time employment" has been accepted for publication by The Curieux Academic Journal (CAJ), a California-based, peer-reviewed, student-run, nonprofit academic journal.  Kate was mentored by Sacred Heart Academy Research Director, Dr. Stephen Sullivan.

Two Sacred Heart Academy senior award winners from the Heckscher Museum "Long Island's Best" Art Contest. They were selected from over 450 entries to be in exhibit. Then out of the 89 chosen artworks for the exhibit they won awards for their entries.
