Twelve Sacred Heart Academy students were honored for independent research projects presented at the Long Island Science Congress' Virtual Fair on April 29.

Tori Famularo '22 has been accepted into Brookhaven National Laboratories' High School Research Program, working with Dr. Atiya Banerjee as part of Dr. Etsuko Fujita's artificial photosynthesis group in the Chemistry Division.

Cayla Midy '22 has been accepted to Memorial Sloan Kettering's Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program's (HOPP) Summer Student Program.

Senior Sophia Fitzpatrick's article has been accepted for publication in "The Whitman Journal of Psychology."
