Scholastic Writing Award Winners

The following students won Scholastic Writing awards. Their works were recognized  by leaders in the literary arts for excellence in originality, technical skill, and emergence of a personal voice or vision.  They join the ranks of notable alumni such as Stehen King, Truman Capote, Joyce Carol Oats, and Sylvia Plath. Kimberly Wong won a national silver metal for her poem, "Of Broad Words and Bright Wishes" which places her poem in the top 1% of all submissions.
